Totemic Sustainable Solutions is a Sustainability Consulting and Services Company that specializes in beneficial reuse of wasted food utilizing on-site technologies. We are experienced with the unique requirements presented at military bases, hospitals, correctional facilities, universites, K-12 schools, zoos, grocery stores and residential complexes.

 

Totemic was established in 2005 and now has offices in Virginia, Michigan and Pennsylvania. We have a wide range of business, environmental and sustainability expertise. Ranging from managing multi-year, multi-million dollar contracts performing environmental assessment/studies and remediation programs to supporting 8(a)/SDVOSB/HUBZone/SB companies’ growth.

 

We still perform those activities, however our successes over the years have allowed us the latitude to specialize on the emergent sustainability and environmental issues affecting us today:

• Programs to beneficially reuse organic waste, specifically wasted food with on-site processing systems;

• Stormwater BMPs management to reduce regional flooding events;

• Implementation of renewable energy and energy saving projects; and 

• PFOS/PFAS remediation with reverse osmosis systems.
